Portals of Thay

Mere thoughts of the land of Thay fill Faerûnians with dread, terror, or horror, depending on their knowledge of that dark land. If they actually knew the reality of Thay, they would be even more afraid. Filled with, and ruled by, the sly Red Wizards, plots of evil that have origin in the lands of Thay have no end. The profusion of wizards means there is a profusion of portals as well. The Red Wizards created many of these for their own use, but some portals predate the independence from Mulhorand. Gird up your courage, though, if you want to learn the truth of any portal in this land, and be prepared to make enemies.

Robert Wiese's love of gaming started in the Boy Scouts, where you'd think there was enough to do to keep one from playing roleplaying games. Through college he has played in some great home campaigns, and he discovered the RPGA at a small game day in 1991. He worked for RPGA for six and a half years, filling almost every job duty that exists on the staff at one time or another.
